Campaign Story

Every day, we go to work and build ambulances—vehicles designed to carry people toward hope and a second chance at life. We take pride in knowing our hands help save families, but this past October, our own family’s future was forever altered.
After an emergency hysterectomy, the path to carrying a child vanished in an instant. This heartbreak was compounded by a sudden change in insurance that left us with no coverage for the only options we have left: IVF and surrogacy. For a long time, my wife struggled with the fear that she wouldn’t be ‘good enough.’ But after four years of marriage and a lifetime of shared dreams, I have watched that fear transform into a fierce, beautiful readiness. She is more than enough; she is everything a child needs. 
We are already proud parents to five wonderful girls. While some have chosen to live with their fathers, our love for them remains a cornerstone of who we are. They have taught us how to lead with patience and how to grow through change. Now, we find ourselves yearning to complete our circle. We didn’t always think it was possible, but we have fallen in love with the dream of bringing a baby boy into our family—a son to learn from the strength of his mothers and the bond of his sisters.
Because I have had my tubes tied and my wife no longer has a uterus, we have a biological mountain to climb. We have the donor, the determination, and a home overflowing with love, but we lack the medical means to bridge the gap.
